Notice of Annual and Special General Meeting

The 149th annual and special general meeting of the policyholders of Bay of Quinte Mutual Insurance Co. will take place on Thursday March 09, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at:

Tyendinaga Recreation Hall
363 McFarlane Road
Shannonville, ON

The following business will take place at the meeting:

• Receive the financial statements and the auditors’ report for the year ending December 31, 2022
• Appointment of auditors for the year 2023
• Election of directors
• Consider the adoption of changes to By-Law Number One

Our keynote speaker at the meeting will be:

Deborah Vanberkel, Psychotherapist and Dairy Producer

Ms. Vanberkel will be speaking about the Farmer Wellness Program.

ELECTION OF DIRECTORS:

The directors whose term of office will expire at the annual and special general meeting are:

Zone 2: Ms. Christina (Chrissy) Poitras
Zone 3:  Mr. Dalton Arthur
Zone 9: Mr. Richard (Dick) Williams

These individuals are all eligible for re-election.  Mr. Richard (Dick) Williams has stated he will not let his name stand for the position of Director for zone 9.

Application for directorship must be received according to By-Law One, article 23 by 11:00 a.m. on January 23, 2023.  One director is required for each of zones 2, 3 and 9.

CLARIFICATION OF ZONES:

Zone 2: Wards of Bloomfield, Hallowell, Hillier, Picton and Wellington in the County of Prince Edward

Zone 3: County of Frontenac, City of Kingston and all points East

Zone 9: Townships of Loyalist, Greater Napanee and Stone Mills and Ward of Sophiasburg in the County of Prince Edward
