Notice of Annual and Special General Meeting

The 152 nd annual and special general meeting of the policyholders of Bay of Quinte Mutual Insurance Co. will take place on Thursday March 12, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at:

The Highline Hall in the Wellington & District Community Centre

111 Belleville Street

Wellington, ON

The following business will take place at the meeting:

  • Receive the financial statements and the auditors’ report for the year ending December 31, 2025. Our financial statements are posted to our website at www.bayofquintemutual.com
  • Appointment of auditors for the year 2026
  • Election of directors
  • Consider the adoption of changes to By-Law Number One

Our keynote speaker at the meeting will be:

Graham Cavalier, General Manager and Co Founder of Aerecura Sustainable Builders

Mr. Cavalier will be speaking about sustainable building practices, including their protection against major weather events.

ELECTION OF DIRECTORS:

The directors whose term of office will expire at the annual and special general meeting are:

Zone 3: Ms. Chrissy Poitras

Director at Large: Mr. Jim Bates

Individuals seeking to be a Director must meet the qualifications detailed in By-Law One, article 24 and adhere to the requirements in the Director Nomination Procedure document.

These individuals are all eligible for re-election.
